Job Description

POSITION TITLE :   Blaster / Painter

REPORTS TO :  Paint Department Team Lead

1st SHIFT - 6am to 4 : 30pm

2ndSHIFT -  4 : 30pm to 3 : 00am

Monday - Friday

Some Saturdays may be required - 12 : 00pm to 6 : 00pm

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITY :

• Follow all KC Safety Directives & Guidelines.
• Sand Blast and Painting Operations.
• Apply prepared primers and paints to components.
• This paints to proper consistency and viscosity for spraying or brushing application.
• Adjust equipment to obtain the finished requirements.
• Operate paint booth, painting, and blasting equipment.
• Maintain spraying equipment and booths in working conditions.
• Operate crane and forklifts.
• Maintain inventory of paint and supplies.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area including equipment and performs all assignments in a safe manner and in accordance with established procedures.
• Other duties assigned by Supervisor.
