The opportunity...

We are seeking an Exceptional Structural Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience who can deliver on the full gamut of structural engineering requirements through the Design Phase, Contract Document Phase, and Construction Administration Phase.

• Perform due diligence : establish client expectations, review city requirements & reports, and collaborate with other consultants
• Provide structural calculations
• Create structural drawings : foundation plans, framing plans, roof plans, major structural sections, details & notes
• Create shoring / slope stabilization plans
• Make corrections / modifications to structural documents (aka Plan Check Corrections)
• Provide interpretation of Structural Contract Documents as needed
• Shop Drawings Review (steel shop drawings, architectural elements and attachments, etc.)
• Perform structural observations and write reports
• Accomplish other duties as necessary
