Position Overview :
As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA 1st Choice Collision, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. Our team is dedicated to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while making the repair process as smooth and stress-free as possible for our customers. We're currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Body Technician
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform quality vehicle repairs as outlined on repair orders in line with manufacturer and industry standards
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding repair progress and requirements
- Complete welding, frame / unibody alignment, body panel repairs, and cosmetic work
- Operate frame machines and other shop equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) inspections upon completion of work
- Mix chemicals and materials per manufacturer specifications
- Adapt to a blueprint-style production model—may not disassemble vehicles personally

Minimum 1 year of collision repair experience requiredI-CAR Certification in body repair and welding preferredOEM certification and knowledge of manufacturer repair processes highly valuedStrong ability to analyze and interpret repair data and measurementsMust have a valid driver's license and be able to operate vehicles legallyDemonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamHigh attention to detail and a commitment to delivering top-quality workmanshipPositive, dependable, and customer-focused mindsetProficient in the use of standard shop tools and safety proceduresJ-18808-Ljbffr
