ABOUT THE JOB

Anduril is looking for a highly skilled Principal Electrical Engineer to take charge of the design and development of cutting‑edge avionics systems for UAVs. In this role, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, test, and deliver high‑performance electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands‑on experience with analog and digital electronics, PCB design, and avionics standards, along with the ability to lead technical teams, ensuring the successful execution of projects. This is an exciting opportunity to lead innovative projects and drive the technical direction of key initiatives, while collaborating with internal teams to push the boundaries of technology.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Technical Leadership : Lead and contribute to the design and development of electrical systems for avionics modules and UAVs.
• Hands‑on Engineering : Actively participate in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, PCB layouts, and other electronic systems.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including software, firmware, and mechanical engineers, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Mentorship : Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping to develop the team’s capabilities.
• System Testing and Validation : Oversee system‑level testing and validation to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and reliability standards.
• Vendor Coordination : Interface with vendors to source and select appropriate components for designs, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
• Project Management : Support project timelines and ensure that technical milestones are met, reporting on progress to senior management.

US Salary Range : $170,000 – $255,000 USD

US Hourly Range : $191,000 – $253,000 USD
