About The Position

ID : 72802681 Shift : 12H Days 3x12s - 6a-6p + call, rotating weekends Description : Unit : Respiratory Therapy (RT)

• Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS, NRP, RRT or CRT & ND state lic
• NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT- # treatments per day : All - only 1 RT is typically staffed per shift- Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?) : Neonatal to geriatrics- What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.) : Will cover all hospital areas- Experience or 'Must have' skills : Need to be able to work with all populations / ages, including neonatal- Job Duties (ie : Do RTs draw ABGs, perform EKGs, etc.) : Level IV trauma center, stroke, trauma stabilization until patient can be transferred out. Assist with mec deliveries and any complicated neonatal delivery / c-section cases, routine RT treatments on med / surg floor, assist with EKGs. Ventilated patients are transferred out. Our ER sees 60+ patients a day and we deliver an average of 58 babies a month.- Would the traveler ever be the only RT in-house? : Yes- RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow) : Airvo, PB 840 Vent, PB 980 Vent, LVT 1200 portable vent, Hamilton G-5, V-60 Respironics, BirdBlenders- Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) : 3x12s - 6a-6p + call, open to blocked scheduling based on need / / team scheduling. - Weekend Requirements : Rotating weekends- Holiday Requirements : Every other- Call or standby call requirement? : Call - 12hr call after shift worked- How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? : 3- 12 hour shifts with another RT- Scrubs : green, but Fridays, any colorRadius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity within the past 12 monthsRTO needed upfront - Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.Entered On : 12 / 18 / 2023 Cancellation can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for assignments that are less than 13 weeks Charting BSN License to Trauma Level : Care Shift - 6a-6p + call, rotating weekends Required , BLS, Certified Respiratory Tech (CRT) Verification, NRP, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Verification Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Contract Weeks : 91
