Role and Location

Role : PMO Support Quality Specialist (Project Quality Manager Specialist) – North America Cross Car Line, Auburn Hills, Michigan. Work location : Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Responsibilities

The Engineer is responsible for developing and executing standardization of manufacturing quality enablers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Performing root cause analysis of quality issues using tools such as Kepner-Tregoe, Shainin Red X, Design of Experiments, etc., and recommending and implementing cost-effective permanent corrective actions.
• Analyzing quality data from internal and external indicators; managing engineering changes with a cross-functional team to ensure timely execution.
• Conducting product evaluation tests to ensure robustness of product or process changes before full implementation; acting as the point of contact for engineering quality and all product-related incidents.
• Delivering third-party quality metrics; analyzing data to identify new opportunities; developing and executing standardization with cross-functional responsibilities in a lean organization.
• Planning, prioritizing, setting goals, and managing multiple projects in a technical and business environment.
• Maintaining strong communication to support meetings at all levels, including senior leadership; establishing internal and external partnerships and influencing without direct authority.
• Demonstrating commitment to delivering a premier product, representing the Voice of the Customer to platform teams, and driving team success by clarifying expectations and minimizing political hurdles.
• Translating ideas into actions that deliver results and showing integrity and hands-on leadership.
