Job Description

As a Security Officer Residential Patrol Unarmed Driver in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a residential community, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment for residents and guests. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate : $18.00 / Hour

DayTime Wed 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Thur 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to residents and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the residential community.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.

Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any observations in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.

Communicate professionally with residents, guests, and property management to address concerns and provide information as needed.

Document incidents, activities, and observations accurately in daily reports or logs as required by site procedures.

Assist with access control by verifying credentials of individuals entering the residential location and / or restricted areas.

Support Allied Universal and client expectations by maintaining a visible presence and upholding site-specific standards.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
