Boeing’s Phantom Works Virtual Warfare Center is seeking an associate DevSecOps engineer who can support the software development tools needed for the rapid prototyping and experimentation that helps our customers answer their toughest questions about future technologies and capabilities. The Virtual Warfare Center executes far-reaching analysis to address military capability gaps in and across multiple warfighting domains in the face of accelerating adversary capabilities.
In DevSecOps you will be part of a team that guarantees the integrity, security, and availability of our software development infrastructure and products. In this position you will create the software infrastructure necessary to guarantee that the execution of both off-the-shelf and custom-built software tools is reliable, efficient, consistent and secure across multiple networks and sites. You will contribute to collaborative, cross-functional teams of engineers performing software development, analysis, integration, and experimentation.
Position Responsibilities :
Support software tool setup, maintenance, integration, testing, and configuration management across multiple networks and physical locations
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with tools, frameworks, and CI / CD pipeline infrastructure
Assist in the development of new toolchains and sustain existing toolchains supporting software development, testing, and delivery
Operate in agile teams and work independently as needed to solve problems
Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure that each system operates as designed and is free of issues and quality problems
Contribute to analysis, planning, and execution of mitigation strategies to identify and prevent potential security vulnerabilities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :
Ability to obtain a Top-Secret SCI clearance post-start
1+ years’ experience with software development in C++ and Python (or equivalents)
1+ years’ experience with bash scripting
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Linux and Windows software development experience
1+ years’ experience with development, documentation, maintenance and testing of requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
1+ years’ experience with Configuration Management
Familiarity with Agile development practices using continuous integration and delivery
Current Top-Secret SCI clearance

Summary pay range : $85,000 - $115,000
