PDS Tech Commercial is seeking two customer-focused and hands-on Field Service Technicians to support a statewide energy efficiency program in partnership with a local electric utility. This role involves traveling to selected neighborhoods throughout Florida to install energy-saving products and educate residents on reducing electrical consumption.

About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be the face of a free residential energy efficiency program. You’ll install products, qualify homes for additional services, and provide education to customers—all while maintaining safety, accuracy, and professionalism. This is a field-based role with up to 60% travel across Florida .

Key Responsibilities

• Install energy-efficient products in residential homes (e.g., LED bulbs, low-flow aerators, insulation jackets, foam sealant)
• Educate customers on energy-saving practices
• Accurately report installation measures and safety issues
• Communicate with field supervisors and document quality metrics
• Safely operate work trucks / box vans to and from job sites
• Participate in neighborhood kickoff events
• Travel overnight as needed (vehicle provided during travel)

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and / or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details : 19.00 per hour
