Position Overview :
We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team and lead sales efforts in the Austin, TX territory. This role is responsible for developing new business, maintaining existing accounts, and driving revenue growth by promoting our range of construction and landscape supply materials to commercial landscape contractors, general contractors, site developers, and municipal customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Austin, TX region.
- Prospect and build relationships with commercial landscape firms, construction companies, developers, and municipal buyers.
- Conduct regular site / office visits to existing and potential clients to present products, provide material samples, and offer solutions for their project.
- Collaborate with internal teams (dispatch, billing specialist, & customer service) to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with freight and logistics companies as well as directly with various quarries to ensure material availability and customer satisfaction.
- Track leads, quotes, and project timelines using CRM software.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitors, and market demands within the Austin and surrounding areas.
- Attend relevant trade shows, networking events, and association meetings to promote RXTX Professionals and grow market presence.
- Provide accurate forecasts and sales reports to management.
Qualifications :
Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the construction or landscape supply industry, is preferred.Knowledge of stone, aggregate, compost, and soil materials is strongly preferred.Existing relationships in the Austin construction or landscape industry are a plus.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.Ability to travel within the assigned territory daily.Benefits :
