Night Shift Supervisor
Leads a team of employees. Communicates company goals and safety practices. As the manager on duty, you will be responsible for ensuring the facility is operating at the highest level. Maintains a clean club by doing various maintenance or cleaning tasks that may be needed. Motivates team members and assesses performance. Assists management updates the service desk manager on team performance. Communicates concerns and policies among management and team members. Serves as the manager on duty to serve members and staff members accordingly. Hours for the Night Shift Supervisor would be Monday-Friday 4 : 00PM-10 : 30PM.
Essential Job Functions
In addition to the Service Desk Associate responsibilities, the Shift Lead :
- Provides encouragement to team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
- Works with Service Desk Manager to ensure shifts are properly staffed
- Answers team member questions, helps with team member problems and oversees team member work for Standard Operating Procedures compliance
- Is a role model for outstanding service, cleanliness, and leadership
- Ensures the club is always clean by doing walkthroughs consistently. This may include unglamorous tasks such as cleaning, pool and spa maintenance, assisting the facility director with any needs, cleaning locker rooms, cleaning the weight room, etc.
- Holding all staff accountable for tasks
- Learns and continues to learn all parts of the club so you can answer any and all questions members may have for you. Be a master of your craft
- May have to address members if they are not following member rules or guidelines given by the club
- Answers membership account questions and learns how to operate ABC datatrack (Billing Software)
- Ensures that all team members follow the Service Desk Standard Operating Procedures
- Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer inquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
- Attends all training and meetings as required
- Consistently closes the club thoroughly and securely
- Provides prospective members with information about the club, trial passes, and writes new memberships
- Performs changes to customer accounts
- Provides assistance to member account inquiries or issues within the club
