JOB SUMMARY :  Under the direction of the Regional Vice President, the MAT Services Director is responsible for the effective delivery of all services provided by the REAP Program which includes managing program activities and therapeutic services. They are responsible for scheduling and monitoring the work activities of counselors, medical and support staff; supervises training, evaluates and directs program staff in the implementation of gender responsive treatment services. The MAT Services Director supervises the administration of assessments of all clients; supervises the development of treatment and discharge services plans for all clients; ensures compliance with all federal, state and local standards and regulations inclusive of Drug Medi-Cal. The MAT Services Director will monitor the provision of services for compliance with contractual requirements.  Maintains participant to staff ratio and tracks participants’ progress. Additionally, they are responsible for the secure storage of confidential participant records regarding outreach, testing and counseling. Center Point DAAC Managers are required to model the values of Center Point DAAC and are also required to uphold Center Point DAAC’s philosophy and standards of care.

DUTIES :

• Acts as first line supervisor to all program staff.
• Manages and maintains daily provision of therapeutic services and activities as outlined in the Unit Operating Manual.
• Provides direction; staff supervision, training, and evaluation; preparation of monthly reports, data collection activities and maintenance of overall quality assurance of treatment standards.  Provides training to staff on assessment tools, curriculum, and treatment plan development.
• Liaison with local government agencies and other community-based organizations.
• Monitors outreach, intake, screening, client levels of care designations, assessments, treatment and aftercare planning services.  Monitors fidelity of evidence-based practices.
• Responsible for the scheduling, coordination, and monitoring of all project activities including groups, seminars, individual counseling, and social / recreation activities.
• Monitor daily movement of clients.
• Provides training, direction and supervision to all program staff.  Directs and monitors counseling staff in the assessment and referral process; implementation of the curriculum; educational activities and development of individual treatment plans.
• Monitors participants’ progress and convenes case conferences as needed.
• Participates in Agency Utilization Review activities as assigned.
• Conducts supervision and debriefing sessions with counseling staff regarding participant progress and appropriate intervention.
• Responsible for secure storage of participant records and ensures staff training on confidentiality.
• Develops and monitors client orientation activities regarding expectations and basic concepts of treatment.
• Provides supervision and monitors all discharge planning service plan development, information & referral, and advocacy activities.
• Provides individual and weekly supervision of counselors.
• Works in collaboration with other programs and supervisory staff.
• Ensures proper practices are observed to protect health and safety of program clients and staff.
• Reviews individual client records to ensure proper documentation and regulatory compliance.
• In coordination with the Utilization Review Committee, they will provide quality assurance monitoring of documented services provided in client files, group notes, and shift reports.
• Ensure that client intakes are conducted appropriately.
• Monitor data collection activities and compliance with company protocols ensuring integrity of daily, weekly, and monthly data.
• Ensure that staff observe company personnel policies.
• Participate in weekly staff meetings.  Attend meetings as directed.
• Other Duties as assigned by agency leadership.
