Help Desk Administrator

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A HELP DESK ADMINISTRATOR

The Help Desk Administrator will provide technical assistance and support related to hardware, software, printers, copiers, phones, card access, audio / video equipment, and any other IT related asset. Excellent customer service is essential to your success. You will be responsible for prioritization, technical support solutions, and completing assigned processes in accordance with company procedures, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant standards.

In addition, the candidate will manage the request queue using a ITIL ticketing system, manage the inventory of IT assets, deploy images and computers, install software, and perform other duties assigned by the IT Director.

QUALIFICATIONS TO BE A HELP DESK ADMINISTRATOR

• Associate or bachelor's degree with a technology focus
• 0-5 years of help desk and technical support experience
• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, or MCSA in Windows 10 / 11 preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft networking environments, including active directory, MS exchange, desktop, and server OS
• Familiar with mobile OS platforms
• Communicate effectively and professionally
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
• Be positive, empathetic, and professional at all time

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base pay range is $21 - $25 per hour. The pay offered is based on credentials, experience and location. The range may be modified in the future.
