Director of Estate Planning

Director of Estate Planning – Responsibilities :

  • Lead the development and delivery of advanced estate, tax, and philanthropic planning solutions for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.
  • Partner with clients and their advisors to evaluate complex planning strategies and integrate them into customized financial plans.
  • Oversee the preparation of sophisticated estate analyses, including cash flow modeling and legacy planning strategies.
  • Serve as a key resource for thought leadership, keeping clients and internal teams informed on evolving tax laws and planning opportunities.
  • Mentor team members and contribute to firmwide initiatives that enhance client experience and service delivery.

Director of Estate Planning – Requirements :

  • Minimum 3 years of estate planning, tax, or trust advisory experience, preferably within a family office, law firm, or RIA.
  • Deep understanding of wealth transfer, business succession, and charitable giving strategies.
  • Ability to communicate complex planning concepts in clear, client-friendly terms.
  • Strong collaborative skills and comfort working with external professional advisors.
  • J.D., CPA, CFP® or similar professional designation preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering innovative solutions and maintaining high client satisfaction.
