ITT Human Resources Manager
Independently and under the direction of the Valves Human Resources Manager, you develop, implement and maintain plans, procedures and processes that address and support the fair and consistent use of Lancaster-based and other IP Valves coworkers. You provide assessment, make recommendations, coordinate and provide training and development for IP Valves coworkers that support and enhance the company's ability to meet strategic and operating objectives. You provide guidance and direction to Lancaster-based leaders regarding how to best deal with human relations issues. You administer and support the fair and consistent administration of the Labor Agreement with GMP, Local #36. Your responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
While providing for the needs of the company, ensures fair and consistent treatment of all Lancaster-based and other IP Valves coworkers, including, but not limited to, the right to a harassment-free work environment; the opportunity to grow and develop; administration of policies and procedures; the handling of disciplinary issues; and other situations that may arise from time to time.
Acts on the company's behalf to ensure consistent application of the provisions of the Labor Agreement.
Conducts training and development needs analysis for Lancaster site and other IP Valves sites as requested or directed; and develops, recommends and or conducts training and development opportunities for coworkers, that support IP Valves and IP's operating and strategic objectives.
Support and recommend updates to the Training sections of the ISO 14001 procedures.
Administers the company's Partnership for Performance (PfP) performance analysis process and gathers information that may be utilized for coworker training and development.
Assist with creating and updating the Lancaster Leadership Continuity Plan.
Coordinates the approval process for Lancaster-based gainsharing, and works with the Steering Committee to ensure the continuous improvement process runs smoothly. Generates and verifies Gainsharing eligibility report every quarter.
Recruits and hires the highest possible candidates for approved Salaried positions, while ensuring that affirmative action and diversity goals, consistent with company objectives, are maintained.
Participates and plays a key role in the Lancaster safety program.
Leads the Lancaster salaried recruitment process. Creates postings within iCIMS and assist with TA, recruits, screens, interviews and hires the highest possible candidates for approved managerial and professional positions, while ensuring that affirmative action, consistent with company objectives, are maintained. Assists in evaluating job descriptions and ensures that the classifications are in conformance with ITT Industries policy and consistent with practical salary administration norms and all applicable local, state, and federal laws. Plans and conducts new employee orientation for all salaried exempt and non-exempt employees.
Is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Lancaster's Affirmative Action Plans to ensure the proper analysis and goals are defined.
Assists the Valves Human Resources Manager with other projects for IP Valves as the need arises.
Position Requirements
This position requires a BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university, and one to three years experience in human resources. Must have experience working with bargaining unit coworkers. HR certification desired.

Equal Pay Act Range
Annual Salary Range $70,800 to $105,400 plus benefits and incentive plans.
