Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant will provide a variety of duties to support effective day to day administrative functions. Essential functions include providing reliable and consistent administrative support to the organization, maintaining confidentiality issues and release of information issues, providing coverage for the front reception area, including answering and relaying telephone calls when the front receptionist takes breaks, goes to lunch, or is absent, supporting in mail pickup and distribution, maintaining accurate agency records, managing timely data collection, reviewing, analyzing, and filing of agency records, preparing and distributing reports or other communications as needed, and assisting in emergency evacuation procedures as described in the safety manual.
Additional job duties include being aware of customer needs and providing quality customer service, knowing and being able to speak to OCCK's mission and philosophy to the extent that casual conversation in the community can promote community awareness, and performing ad hoc job duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications include at least two years of clerical or related experience, excellent oral communication skills, the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, and the ability to work with a diverse group of people in a team setting.
Skills required include being reliable and consistent, flexible and responsive, having the ability to focus on tasks and complete them in a timely manner, taking effort to understand the problem and to identify potential solutions, and being able to effectively deal with changing work priorities.
