Transportation Equipment / Vehicle Dispatcher and Commercial Line-Haul Coordinator

Overview As a TAG Transportation Equipment / Vehicle Dispatcher and Commercial Line-Haul Coordinator you will be responsible for monitoring the dispatch, return and maintenance schedules of all vehicles, and equipment assigned to Logistics Support Unit and the scheduling of Commercial Line-Hauls (TAC code) when Military assets are unavailable.

  • This position is contingent upon contract award.

Security Requirement : Must possess a SECRET security clearance.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Schedules and dispatches "C" Pool Civil Engineering Support Equipment and Material Handling Equipment for short term loans to NSW East coast commands.
  • Re-issues "B" assigned CESE and MHE for re-occurring loans.
  • Tracks CESE and MHE for late returns and notify customer of status.
  • Maintains a key locker with all keys assigned to the motor pool.
  • Monitors the Preventative Maintenance schedule and notify customers in advance of maintenance requirements.
  • Maintains equipment status board to accurately display equipment readiness.
  • Receives emergency break-down notifications and relay information to chain of command for action.
  • Submit TAC codes for commercial Line-Hauls utilizing the Global Freight Management (GFM) system.

    • Requirements :

  • Minimum of one year dispatch operations experience.
  • Experience / Knowledge with Fleet Focus Vehicle Fleet Management (FF) system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
  • Be able to enter data into multiple databases accurately.
  • Possess a valid state driver's license.
