High Voltage Switch Gear Structural Designer (6 Month Temp-to-Direct)

Selectek has a contract-to-hire opportunity for a Structural Designer to join our team and play a key role in the development of our High Voltage Switchgear products. In this role, you will be responsible for creating detailed shop drawings and bills of material for both structural steel components and foundations. You will also collaborate closely with engineers from other disciplines to ensure seamless integration of equipment and address any challenges related to mechanical and electrical components.

Responsibilities :

Develop detailed shop drawings and bills of material for structural steel components and foundations used in High Voltage Switchgear products.

Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure equipment integration and address any design challenges.

Utilize AutoCAD software to produce accurate and clear technical drawings.

(Preferred) Leverage 3D CAD experience to enhance design visualization and communication.

Qualifications :

2 years of experience in structural design.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Strong understanding of structural engineering principles.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.
