Sr. Network Administrator

The Sr. Network Administrator will lead or supervise the development and maintenance of network communications. Uses knowledge of LAN / WAN systems to help design and install internal and external networks. Tests and evaluates network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements.

Essential Job Functions :

• Leads various Tier I and Tier II service desk duties.
• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of LAN / WAN and other network systems.
• Supervise and mentor junior network administrators and service desk personnel.
• Perform network performance tuning, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.
• Conduct network testing and evaluation to identify and eliminate issues and improve efficiency.
• Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure network security and compliance with organizational policies.
• Manage and support firewalls, routers, switches, VPNs, and other network hardware / software.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
• Monitor network usage and performance using appropriate tools and generate reports for management.
