Part-Time Bilingual Program Assistant - (Gulfton)
The Program Assistant is usually the first contact neighbors have with our centers so their role is very important in making sure we serve our neighbors with the resources, education and connection that they are looking for. The Program Assistant accomplishes this by being responsible for the following duties :
- Welcome all visitors to center by answering questions and directing traffic.
- Answer phone calls and respond to voicemails.
- Ensure lobby areas are clean and welcoming prior to opening our buildings, after closing and throughout the day.
- Conducts data entry such as : Class attendance, attendance on workshops and events, recording of volunteer hours and center member surveys.
- Assists with center marketing such as : updating of lobby tv PowerPoints, creating of flyers and publishing posts on social media.
- Help with membership creation and renewals.
- Ensure center supplies are always in stock.
- Plan and host small events.
- Support Community Resource Specialist, Manager of Community Development, and Community Engagement Manager with other tasks as needed.
Must be bilingual in Spanish
