PARALEGAL - 1 Year Experience in Personal Injury Required

Our well-established personal injury law firm is looking for an experienced and dedicated Paralegal to join our team. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in managing cases from pre-litigation to settlement, ensuring that clients are kept informed every step of the way. We're looking for someone who has excellent communication skills, is highly organized, and has a solid background in personal injury law.

Responsibilities :

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and up-to-date on the progress of their cases.
• Prepare Letters of Representation (LORs) and other legal documents as needed.
• Follow up with insurance companies to confirm coverage and ensure timely processing of claims.
• Request medical records, bills, and any other necessary documents from medical facilities and providers.
• Maintain regular communication with clients to gather necessary documents, provide updates, and address concerns.
• Assist attorneys in preparing demands and settlement packages for review and negotiation.
• Prepare and file legal documents in accordance with state and local rules.
• Draft, review, and proofread correspondence, discovery, and other case-related materials.
• Manage and maintain client files, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.
• Ensure that all deadlines are met and that cases progress smoothly by tracking case milestones and follow-up tasks.
• Work closely with medical providers, insurance companies, and the legal team to resolve issues and move cases forward.
• Assist in trial preparation and litigation, including witness preparation and document organization (experience in litigation is a plus).
