The Senior Outreach Specialist plays a pivotal role in expanding our recruitment efforts in the local community. The ideal candidate will foster relationships with F1 student friendly companies, ESL (English as a Second Language) school partners, and community colleges to identify and recruit qualified international students interested in furthering their education. This position plays a key role in driving enrollment and enhancing brand visibility within the international student market.

Requirements : Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership Development : Independently identify, establish, and manage partnerships with ESL schools, community colleges, and F1 student-friendly companies. Negotiate agreements and collaborations that directly contribute to generating qualified student leads and applications to align with the university's enrollment objectives. Outreach Strategy Design : Design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive outreach strategies to attract qualified international students. Set measurable goals and timelines focused on student inquiries and applications, ensuring progress is tracked against established KPIs.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting : Analyze outreach efforts, enrollment trends, and lead-to-application conversion data to recommend improvements in recruitment strategies. . Prepare detailed reports for senior leadership, highlighting performance against key benchmarks such as student leads generated and applications submitted.
  • Marketing Collaboration : Act as a liaison with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns that align with institutional goals. Provide insights on messaging, branding, and channel selection to maximize student engagement and conversion.
  • Event Management and Representation : Oversee and lead the university's participation in recruitment fairs, networking events, and presentations. Define and track event-specific KPIs (e.g., number of leads collected, applications initiated) to ensure events contribute meaningfully to enrollment goals.
  • Program Development : Collaborate with university leadership to develop new programs or initiatives that meet the needs of international students and expand the university's reach.
  • Policy and Process Improvement : Continuously evaluate and refine recruitment policies and workflows to improve efficiency and increase conversion rates across the lead-to-application pipeline.
  • Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently on complex projects.
  • Proven ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in managing partnerships, and recruitment strategies.
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to synthesize information and make recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including institutional leaders and external partners.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in marketing, business, communications, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in student recruitment, sales, or community outreach, with demonstrated success in designing and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the needs of international students and the ability to address those needs proactively.
  • Proficiency in Google Suites and CRM systems or other software for managing recruitment efforts.
  • Willingness to travel extensively both locally and internationally.
