Position Overview
As the Video Operations Manager, you will be facilitating the onboarding of new video content from delivery to deployment on our SVOD (streaming-video-on-demand) platform.
You will work cross-functionally with our content, business affairs, and marketing teams to ensure videos launch successfully. You will also manage how we merchandise content within the product on a day-to-day basis. You will work with our product team to improve and redevelop our video management system (VMS), which facilitates the upload and deployment of videos to our platform.
This role reports to our in-house producer and will be the glue between the content and product teams. The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment, with a keen eye for detail.
The successful candidate will have worked in environments where priorities change regularly, demonstrating their ability to adapt and organize their workload effectively. Having well-developed organizational skills is a must.
Experience with streaming media and video formats is a must. While experience with technical development teams is not required, it is a big plus, as you work to improve and redevelop the VMS with the product team.
This is not a video producer role and you will not be making original content. This is a technical role that could grow into a higher-level studio operations role as we develop original content that will require more sophisticated digital asset management.
While you will not initially be managing full-time staff, you will be managing processes and contractors from the start.
