Responsibilities

As a Market Development Intern, you'll play a key role in gathering, analyzing, and visualizing data that supports strategic decisions in marketing and business development. You will help uncover design opportunities, analyze construction trends, and assist in positioning our architectural metal decking solutions with Architects, Engineers, and Contractors.

Conduct market research on architectural and structural metal deck usage across regions and sectors (e.g., healthcare, education, commercial).

Track and organize data on architects, engineers, and contractors involved in relevant Division 05 31 00 projects.

Create and maintain CRM dashboards and reports to monitor lead activity, bid opportunities, and regional market shifts.

Present findings and actionable insights to the sales and marketing teams.

Qualifications

Interest in the construction industry, building systems, or AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) space.

Strong analytical and research capabilities; comfortable working with large datasets or industry databases.

Proficient in Excel, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Strong Math Skills

Ability to read or learn to interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.

Self-motivated and results-driven.
