Overview
Take2 is seeking a highly skilled Web Content Manager to support a federal client on-site in Washington, D.C. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented digital strategist with expertise in web communications, content governance, and accessibility compliance. As a key player on the team, you will manage and modernize web content across platforms, ensuring a seamless and engaging user experience for internal and external audiences.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, review, and respond to web communication service requests.
- Set up, modify, or remove web content manager permissions.
- Test, monitor, and optimize web content to maximize engagement and demand.
- Identify and resolve accessibility issues to ensure compliance with Section 508.
- Support web site audits and update existing maps.
- Identify obsolete pages for archiving or unpublishing.
- Serve as backup for leadership web publications.
- Create redirects for new web pages.
- Develop and manage content on SharePoint platforms.
- Generate monthly user data reports and recommend updates to improve user experience.
- Create or update web content that links relevant materials across the client’s websites.
- Design and implement subsites, microsites, webpages, and other features.
- Provide ongoing support for search engine optimization initiatives.
- Ensure content compliance with organizational policies and accessibility standards.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements related to web design and migration.
Qualifications
Four or more years of relevant experience in web content management.Ability to create and edit web pages using plain language.Proficiency in web content management tools and platforms.Experience developing and maintaining SharePoint content.Knowledge of SEO best practices.Ability to test and optimize web content for accessibility and engagement.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to obtain the Public Trust clearance.Motivated self-starter with excellent customer service skills.Education & Certification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, media, or a related field with four or more years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree in a related field with two or more years of relevant experience.

Hybrid; work is performed on-site in Washington, D.C., with an adaptable schedule allowing for a mix of remote and in-office work.
