We are looking for a skilled Commercial Real Estate Finance Attorney to join our team remotely. This role involves working on sophisticated real estate finance transactions, including affordable housing projects and large-scale commercial developments. If you have a passion for representing institutional lenders and navigating complex financial structures, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful deals.
Responsibilities :
- Represent institutional lenders and capital providers in commercial real estate finance transactions, ensuring their interests are well-protected.
- Draft and negotiate a variety of loan agreements, such as construction loans, bridge loans, term loans, syndicated credit facilities, and secured or unsecured lines of credit.
- Conduct detailed reviews and analyses of title commitments, surveys, organizational documents, and other due diligence materials.
- Manage the real estate due diligence process, ensuring thoroughness and compliance with all legal requirements.
- Advise clients on bond financing and affordable housing projects, including transactions involving Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.
- Collaborate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to facilitate smooth transaction closings.
- Provide strategic guidance on complex financial structures and real estate financing matters.
- Ensure timely and accurate handling of all aspects of loan documentation and transaction execution.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the state bar where you are practicing.
- At least 4 years of experience specializing in commercial real estate finance law, particularly on the lending side.
- Proven success in drafting loan documents and managing comprehensive real estate due diligence processes.
- Familiarity with bond financing, tax credit structures, and affordable housing development financing is highly desirable.
- Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple complex transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of real estate financing concepts and related legal frameworks.
