Tool Room Machinist

FurstStaffing is hiring a Tool Room Machinist at a local manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. This company has grown from a tool and die shop to a premium machining job shop, utilizing vertical machining centers, wire EDM, precision machining, metal stamping dies and more. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity, and the company is willing to consider full or part-time hours. Our client is open to talking to a Programmer or an Operator who knows MastCam programming.

Hours : 1st shift; full-or-part-time; hours are negotiable

Pay : $25 - $30 / hour

Benefits : Paid Holidays, Vacation Pay, and Health Insurance after 60 days, Simplified Employee Pension Plan

Tool Room Machinist Responsibilities :

  • Set up and operate tool room equipment, including :

Manual mills

  • Manual lathes
  • Surface grinders

    • Tool Room Machinist Requirements :

  • ProtoTRAK experience is a plus, but training is provided
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to keep close tolerances
  • Comprehension of blueprints and inspection of own work
  • 3+ experience preferred
  • Must have own tools
