Construction Estimator Commercial Interiors

The Estimator will play a key role in preconstruction efforts, supporting a variety of projects from conceptual budgeting through final proposal. This individual will be responsible for developing complete and accurate scopes, conducting detailed take-offs, leveling bids, and ensuring all coverage gaps are addressed. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has the ability to read and interpret plans with precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and detailed quantity take-offs for flooring, trim, drywall, exterior materials, and other scopes.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to develop complete scopes of work.
• Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and vendor bids, ensuring thorough coverage.
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, and potential risks in proposals.
• Collaborate with the project team on budgets, schedules, and constructability reviews.
• Utilize estimating software and tools, including Bluebeam and BuildingConnected, to manage bid processes and documentation.
• Provide clear and organized cost estimates and proposals to support project pursuits.
• Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
