Job Description

Job Summary

• Under general supervision, position provides for maintaining electrical equipment and distribution systems in safe operations. Makes repairs, preventative maintenance, installs and performs safety testing on all electrical components within the facility. Requires independent effort with limited supervision; establishes course of action and develops methods to obtain results; recommends and / or implements practices, procedures in areas of expertise. Incumbent shall guide and oversee maintenance Zone Mechanics and other trade specific mechanics when they are assigned and performing electric work.
