Principal Consultant – Part‑Time

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services to executive and management level clients, supporting decision‑making through strategic planning, project and program management.
• Lead consulting in policy development, strategic planning and program development, innovative financial strategies and funding options, asset management review, governmental affairs and legislative strategy development, coalition development and group facilitation, administration and interagency collaboration, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications and messaging, workforce development, and leadership training program development.
• Build and strengthen relationships with public sector clients at all levels of government, representing HDR with national, regional and local organizations.
• Monitor industry trends, national and local policy changes and funding opportunities to anticipate client needs.

Benefits

Expected compensation depends on skills, experience, education and location. Washington D.C. : $209,814.00 – $283,866.00. (Stated benefits are for full‑time regular positions; temporary and part‑time roles are eligible for limited benefits.)
