    • What you’ll do

  • Execute routine and emergency maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Diagnose issues using mechanical / electrical troubleshooting methods
  • Complete inspections to ensure safety and optimal performance
  • Document all work performed and parts used
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve reliability and reduce downtime
  • Follow safety rules and regulatory guidelines at all times
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

    • What it takes

  • Minimum 1 year of documented mechanical experience (may be combined across employers) or graduate of an industrial maintenance training program
  • Rehire policy : eligible only after 180 days and fewer than three prior work terms
  • 18+ years of age with valid identification
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and read / understand work assignments
  • Working knowledge in welding, hydraulics, basic electricity, power transmission, pneumatics, and plumbing
  • Physical demands : lift 50 lbs; climb stairs to 120 ft and ladders up to 60 ft; stand for long periods; work in extreme hot / cold and inclement weather
