Systems Technician
Our Employee-Owned company has immediate full-time openings for a Systems Technician in the Southeast. This position will work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal businesses and be part of an amazing and GROWING team! All positions are regular, full-time, and benefits eligible. Pay range depending on experience, skills, and knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect work areas and complete Job Hazard Analysis prior to starting any work.
- Review and process work, plan ahead, coordinate equipment, supplies, tools, and manage schedule / scheduling impacts.
- Install equipment, install cable while adhering to codes, regulations, and standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues to quick resolutions.
- Complete post-installation paperwork and coordinate with supervisor for inspections.
- Ensure First-Class customer service for superior customer satisfaction.
- Know industry standards, color codes, cable & testing.
- Work is performed while standing, sitting, walking, and climbing ladders.
- Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching, kneeling, and balancing.
- Climbing ladders of various heights and working in cramped corridors.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, pull a minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Standing for over 95% of the workday and sitting for 2 hours at a time.
- Work in indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Activities involve being around moving machinery, exposure to temperature and humidity changes, dust, fumes, and gases.
- Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustments.
- Operate motor vehicles independently.
- Operate technologies and equipment as required by the installation plan.
