We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and alignment of various equipment and machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems and the ability to fabricate components as needed. The Equipment Technician will also provide exceptional customer service while ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Duties

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Align and suspend machinery as required to maintain operational standards.
  • Fabricate parts and components for equipment repairs using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with OEM representatives to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Provide technical support and customer service to clients regarding equipment functionality.
  • Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role involving heavy lifting and mechanical work.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to operate cranes and other heavy machinery safely.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
  • Strong communication skills, demonstrating effective customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing technologies within the industry.

    Pay : $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
