We are currently seeking a highly skilled Permanent Service Engineer to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability of our manufacturing equipment and systems. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Responsibilities :
As a Permanent Service Engineer, your main responsibilities will include :
1. Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of complex manufacturing equipment and systems.
2. Programming and troubleshooting PLC systems to ensure optimal performance.
3. Providing technical support and training to staff and operators to enhance their understanding and ability to operate machinery.
4. Implementing preventive maintenance programs and recommending improvements to enhance machine reliability and performance.
5. Assisting in the development and implementation of new equipment and systems.
6. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve manufacturing and production issues.
7. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures while performing duties.
8. Conducting root cause analysis for any equipment failures and implementing corrective actions.
9. Keeping up-to-date documentation of all maintenance activities and equipment statuses.
10. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
Qualifications :
To be considered for this exciting role, you must meet the following qualifications :
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
3. Proven experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting is essential.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
5. Strong knowledge of manufacturing equipment, systems, and safety regulations.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical issues in a clear and concise manner.
8. Proficiency in using various software and tools for diagnosing and resolving equipment issues.
9. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
10. Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to safety and quality.
