We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager to join our team in the Kansas City, MO metro area.

As a member of Barts Electric's operations and project management team, you will oversee all aspects of assigned commercial electrical projects from commencement to completion of a successful, safe, profitable project. You will manage these projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. This position reports to the Vice President of Operations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plans, organizes, and manages electrical construction projects.
• Identifies and generates new business.
• Promotes a positive company culture by fostering friendly and constructive employee relations.
• Works with the Purchasing Department and vendors proactively to ensure effective material procurement and coordination.
• Attends all required internal and external project meetings.
• Participates in field staff performance review process.
• Manages all aspects of project documentation.
• Responsible for negotiating subcontracts.
• Manages sub-tiered subcontractors.
• Cooperate with and technically assist field personnel.
• Prepares change order requests, project reports, and documentation.
• Reviews daily reports generated by foremen.
• Approves time entered by foremen.
• Consistently walks jobsites with foremen and crew.
• Assists in preconstruction as required.
• Establish the project budget and manpower forecast.
• Complete monthly financial projections.
• Reviews assigned project proposal or plan.
• Establishes work plan and staffing.
• Directs project personnel and outlines work plan.
• Directs and coordinates activities of project.
• Prepares status reports.
• Keeps Vice President Operations informed.
• Oversees project budget.
• Serves as primary liaison.
• Communicates and consults with preconstruction.
• Supervises and provides performance feedback.
• Oversees the final approval process.

Minimum Requirements :

Salary Range : $85,000 $115,000
