YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS
In this role, youll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters hereuse it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience.
As the Food Hall Manager, you are responsible for effectively overseeing and coordinating the planning, organizing, training and leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in guest service and satisfaction, cleanliness & sanitation. The Food Hall Manager will continue to maintain a healthy community for our tenants and provide the necessary support to assist in their success.
WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE
- Leads a small team in supporting and servicing the day-to-day activities.
- Executes well-defined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.
- Provide leadership and direction to a small team in support of the propertys daily operations.
- Assist with hiring, firing, discipline, scheduling, payroll, inventory and other managerial duties as assigned.
- Schedule labor as required by anticipated business activity while ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met.
- Continually strive to develop staff in all areas of managerial and professional development.
- Oversee and ensure that policies on employee performance appraisals are followed and completed on a timely basis.
- Achieve food hall standards in service, appearance of facility including sanitation and cleanliness through training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
- Ensure that all public, dock, storage and bathrooms are kept clean.
- Work with engineering to ensure all owned equipment is in excellent working condition through tenant relations and following the food halls preventative maintenance programs.
- Assist with bookings and day-to-day operations of The Bottling Room, in accordance with requested capacity.
- Collaborate in the planning of events and programming that help drive revenue and customer engagement.
- Assist in managing the food hall during events.
- Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
- Have complete knowledge and understanding of food hall tenant directory, parking and surrounding businesses.
- Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs.
- Be knowledgeable of tenant polices and address any violations / concerns with GM.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees and guests.
- Executes well-defined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review.
- Prepare all required paperwork, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely manner.
- Provide advice and suggestions to General Manager / Assistant General Manager as needed.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED
Education
High school diploma or equivalentExperience and / or Training
High level of professionalism.Knowledge of service and food and beverage, generally involving at least three years of front-of-house / back-of-house operations and / or assistant management positions.Possess excellent basic math skills and have the ability to operate a POS system.Licenses / Certificates
Food Manager Certification within 90 days of employmentBeverage Certification within 90 days of employmentMANDATORY REQUIREMENT
