Peace of Mind Technologies (POM), is currently searching for a qualified, enthusiastic, hard-working and driven A / V Sales Engineer that embodies POMs core values to join our Company.

Founded in 2002, POM has handled more than 2,000 site installations, primarily focused on large offices, retail, hospitality, health care, education, and real estate (commercial, luxury residential and hi-rise).

Roles & Responsibilities

Realize Client Objectives. The A / V Sales Engineer reviews the prospects needs and wants for the product / services offered and works with the Senior Sales Engineer, System Engineers and the Sales team to develop the right solution.

• Gathers relevant site details in order to create the scope of work including equipment and labor estimate.
• Review and interpret project bid specifications.
• Conduct site-walks with team.

Support the Company Growth. The A / V Sales Engineer provides accurate and timely project estimates / quotes to the sales team that support the detailed scopes of work outlined in Sales Proposals, RFIs, RFPs etc.

Increase Profit Margin. The Estimator levels vendor quotes and negotiates costs to increase profit margins, as well as identifies missing components in the scope of work to avoid additional project costs and reduced margins after the project is sold.

Exceed Client Expectations. The A / V Sales Engineer assists with the management of the quote calendar and prioritize accordingly to ensure that the sales team can meet RFP deadlines.
