Job Summary
This position will provide technical and analytical support of the business processes associated with the Clean Energy Solutions (CES) organization in support of the Energy Efficiency, Electric Vehicles, and Solar program teams.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare / post invoices. Coordinate with vendors to reconcile invoice discrepancies and keep vendors informed regarding payment information. Create journal entries as required.
Provide technical support, including developing and submitting purchase requisitions and change order requests.
Conduct QA / QC calls with customers for various CES program teams to ensure verification and validation of the work completed by vendors.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processing; these can include creating and posting journal entries, conducting actual vs. plan variance analysis, creating ad hoc analysis, and supporting the investment recovery month-end revenue processing.
Support and maintain the CES training catalog & matrix. Assign trainings to CES associates and report on training records.
Monitor vendor project commitment status and generate reports.
Assist with ongoing programs not limited to Intern Program, Business Continuity Planning (BCP), All Hands meetings, etc.
Ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Job Specific Qualifications
Required :
Bachelor’s Degree or, in lieu of degree, a minimum of 2 years financial administrative experience.
Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
Excellent customer interaction skills to resolve invoicing issues.
Ability to manage relationships with vendor representatives including information exchange for all project-related work.
Ability to adapt to various responsibilities and work collectively within a team.
Good to have :
Experience working with contracts and Ariba, SAP, Catalyst, eTrack+, emPower.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to confidently communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
Desire to be challenged, expand knowledge, and take on more responsibility over time.
Work Schedule :
Hybrid Schedule : Currently 2 days onsite, increasing to 3 days onsite in the Fall.
Location : Newark Office.
