What to Expect (Job Responsibilities) :
Assign and maintain administrative code set mappings (ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT4, HCPCS) in line with production and release schedulesMaintain content in accordance with code set updates and adhere to authoritative coding guidelinesCollaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries via the defined ticketing systemStay up-to-date with evolving clinical practices and updates to code sets from regulatory organizationsIdentify mapping discrepancies and proactively engage in discussions to resolve themWhat is Required (Qualifications) :
Experience with US-based ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT4, and HCPCS code setsMinimum of three years' experience with medical records coding, electronic health records, and medical terminologyOne of the following credentials required : RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPCDemonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to solve complex mapping challengesEffective communication skills, including the ability to present information clearly and collaborate across teamsHow to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications) :
