Overview : At The Well, our Counselors play a key role in supporting the well-being of our clients. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled professional who can effectively manage various tasks, understand diverse client needs, and uphold our core values in every interaction. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, clinical expertise, and a passion for creating a supportive and inclusive environment. This position will work out of the West Point and Norfolk Outpatient offices.

Licensed, or eligible for licensure, in Nebraska as a (P)LADC.

Familiar with HIPAA, 42 CFR regulations, and ethical standards.
Able to work flexible hours (evenings / weekends) as needed.

Skilled in clinical documentation, problem-solving, collaboration, and self-care.
Able to partner with outside agencies to support consumers.
Preferred
Dual licensure : (P / LMHP / LIMHP) and (P / LADC).
Duties & Responsibilities
Maintain licensure and meet CEU requirements.
Provide counseling to help consumers identify strengths, set goals, change behaviors, and build skills.
Stay current through workshops and ongoing education.
Comply with state / federal confidentiality and ethics regulations.
Perform all 12 Core Functions (screening, assessment, treatment planning, counseling, case management, crisis intervention, education, referral, reports, consultation, etc.).
Conduct intakes, assessments, and orientations; complete documentation and treatment plans within timelines.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling tailored to consumer needs.
Coordinate services and referrals; network with community resources.
Deliver crisis intervention and consumer education as needed.
Maintain accurate clinical records, progress notes, reports, and discharge summaries.
Develop aftercare / follow-up plans with consumers.
Consult with supervisors and other professionals regularly; seek guidance when needed.
Attend staffing meetings and collaborate on consumer progress.
