General Laborer Concrete Precast Yard

Location : Gretna, Nebraska

Job Type : Contract to Hire

Start Date : Immediate

Looking to get your hands dirty and build something that lasts? Join a hardworking crew in Gretna, NE, where you'll help shape concrete structures from the ground up. This is a dynamic, field-based role for individuals who thrive in outdoor environments and enjoy physical, hands-on work.

What You'll Do

  • Set up and prep forms for concrete pours
  • Cut wire and tie rebar to reinforce structures
  • Move materials across the site efficiently
  • Pour and finish concrete in prepared forms
  • Operate hand tools and construction equipment

What You Bring

  • At least 6 months of construction experience (general or utility)
  • Familiarity with concrete work and hand tools
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs from ground to truck level
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation

    • Bonus Skills

  • Experience with dirt work and utility construction
  • Ability to operate excavators, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment
  • Fitting and laying experience in construction projects

  • Crews of 34 people, casual dress code (jeans, t-shirt / sweatshirt, steel-toed boots)
  • Must be ready to get dirty and stay productive

    • The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
