HRIS Specialist
The HRIS Specialist partners with HR directors, managers and their customers to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage the return on technological capabilities. The HRIS Business Analyst ensures adherence to project schedules, maintains a systems orientation, and can work effectively with peers to set technology priorities and conduct long-term planning. This position also serves as a technical point-of-contact for ACA, JDE, ATS and Boomi systems and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
The HRIS Specialist will :
- Support sustainability and efficiency of implemented solutions and associated data governance processes
- Identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities
- Compare data from different sources to draw conclusions
- Use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or develop appropriate solutions
- Take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints and probable consequences
- Utilize interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals
- Recommend process / customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and / or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation
- Understand and use qualitative / quantitative measurement and data collection design principles
- Collaborate with system administrators and documents results to ensure quality effective decision making
- Provide production support, including researching and resolving system problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
- Generate reports / queries, including writing maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
- Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing customer needs
- Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
- Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation
- Train clients on new processes / functionality
- Train new system users
- Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures
- Assist with special projects and performs other related duties as directed by supervisor
