EMS / SCADA Specialist

Ogmint Technical Services is a Provider of Niche professionals across the Energy Industry. We are currently supporting an Electric Utility undergoing an EMS upgrade. They are seeking an EMS / SCADA Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Lead the integration of RT SCADA data streams into the EMS platform (E-terra, ABB, Electrification X, EcoStruxure, OSI).
• Configure and maintain EMS applications including real-time monitoring, alarming, contingency analysis, and state estimation.
• Perform validation of EMS functionalities, ensuring data accuracy and system reliability.
• Support system upgrades, patch management, and compliance documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in SCADA / EMS environments.
• Collaborate with system operators, IT, and engineering teams to optimize EMS workflows.
• Develop technical documentation, including design specs, validation test plans, and procedures.
