• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.\n
• Must have at least 12 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience.\n
• 6 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.\n\nRequirements\n
• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license (required for submission).\n
• This role will require floating to multiple units Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.\n
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.\n

• Respiratory / Thoracic, Care of Ventilated Patient, Ventilator Management, Medications, Continuous IV sedation, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias\n
• Must have exp with peds for ED float.\n\nRequired Credentials : At least one reference must be within the last year. The second is considered acceptable if it is within the last 2 years.\n\nUnit / Facility Details\n
• NP ratio ICU 1 : 2, ED / CSC day 1 : 4, ED / CSC night 1 : 5\n
• Drivers License / State ID : Copy of Passport, driver's license or government issued ID is required.\n\nSpecial Requests : Labs must be completed within 48 hours of booking assignment – completed no later than 5 business days.\n\nShift & Scheduling : Every 3rd weekend.\n\nFloating Requirements : Will float to ICU, ED, and cardiac stroke center (CSC)\n\n10 days maximum time off\n\n2 references from last 12 months (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission\n\nProof of identification required\n\nCertifications\n
