Healthcare Customer Service Representative LHH Recruiting is hiring on a contract to hire basis for our client in Phoenix, AZ for a Healthcare Customer Service Representative. In this role you will be handling incoming calls and emails from customers and answering their questions, handling requests and providing additional information, troubleshooting registration and login issues.
Job Duties : - Handles inbound phone calls from Providers and other customers.- Reviews claims and responds to billing questions.- Provides updates on claim status, including notification that claims are in process, pending for more information, and denied.- Works in a detailed, fast-paced, and repetitive production environment. Interacts with customers in a professional, formal manner where the focus is on completing the task pleasantly and with high quality and accuracy.- Maintain a detailed and organized record of customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in the designated database or customer relationship management (CRM) system. - Follow standardized procedures and guidelines to ensure consistent and accurate handling of claims-related inquiries and customer interactions. - Provide guidance and clarification to customers on insurance policies, claim submission requirements, and documentation needed for claims processing.- Assist customers in navigating online systems and resources for claim submission, status updates, and billing inquiries. Education & Experience Required : - High School diploma or G.E.D.- 1+ years of customer service call center experience in the healthcare industry.- Good communication skills- Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Excel, the Internet and on-line systems preferred
Pay Details : $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
