The Hercules Training Center Manager (TCM) is responsible for establishing, directing, managing, and leading the Lockheed Martin Hercules Training Center (HTC). The TCM oversees all site activities and support functions, ensuring they align with directives set by the Program Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Oversight - Direct all HTC personnel, manage the compliance / quality-assurance program, and enforce safety, standardization, and student-management standards.
Training Design & Delivery - Identify operational needs, develop and execute training programs that align with program goals and budget / schedule constraints.
Functional Management - Supervise all HTC functions (logistics, IT, facilities, records), maintain configuration-management systems, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Customer & Qualification Processes - Establish and manage customer-provided training and qualification procedures; maintain curriculum currency.
Technical & Project Governance - Track technical developments, apply project-management best practices, and uphold quality-assurance policies.
Instruction - Remain instructor-current in HTC curricula; certified to teach classroom and full-motion simulator lessons, including extended-duration standing and instructor operator station operation.
LM Initiatives - Implement 1LMX program, policies, and other Lockheed Martin directives as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
Bring extensive experience in military Airlift Flight Training Unit (FTU) operations.
Demonstrate proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Microsoft Office.
Hold a minimum of 1,500 flight hours in the C 130J, including at least 250 hours as Pilot in Command or serve as a current or (within the last three years) fully mission qualified C 130J Loadmaster Instructor (including contract instructors qualified for this position).
Maintain current or attainable CFII, FAA Training Center Instructor or Examiner certification and an L382J type rating.
Exhibit outstanding interpersonal skills, strong leadership traits, excellent oral and written communication abilities, solid organizational capability, and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction.
Adapt to flexible work hours, including nights and weekends as required.
Obtain and / or maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
Ability to stand for prolonged periods and operate the instructor station in a full-motion simulator.
Desired Skills
Prior experience delivering military pilot academic and simulator training (C-130J curriculum).
Familiarity with the HTC curriculum and operating requirements.
Knowledge of FAA, NSP, and TSA compliance procedures.
Master's degree in a related discipline.

Work Schedules : Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
