Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Director of Quality Compliance are the following :
- Establish and manage quality systems : Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS) with clear standards, procedures, and protocols tailored to optical components and systems. Ensure adherence to all applicable industry regulations.
- Lead quality assurance initiatives : Review test data to detect deviations from established quality standards, collaborating with engineering teams to resolve product and service quality concerns.
- Perform data analysis and reporting : Gather and interpret quality metrics to uncover trends and root causes of defects. Prepare detailed reports to inform leadership and support continuous improvement strategies.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration : Work closely with design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure consistent quality throughout the product development lifecycle. Provide training and support on quality best practices as needed.
- Promote continuous improvement : Identify and implement opportunities to enhance quality processes, applying corrective and preventive actions to eliminate recurring issues and elevate overall performance.
