job_description.job_card.job_description5–7 years of experience maintaining warehouse equipment required. Must hold a valid Oregon LME (Limited Maintenance Electrician) License . Good working knowledge of hazard communication, chemical handling, MSDS, and lockout / tagout procedures. Intermediate computer skills and ability to document work accurately. Physical ability to climb ladders, sit and stand for extended periods, regularly lift / carry up to 40+ lbs, and move freely throughout the facility. Strong aptitude for mechanics and troubleshooting. Ability to work with minimal supervision and make sound decisions within established guidelines. Monday–Friday, 1 : 50 PM–10 : 20 PM, with periodic overtime as required. Weekend work may occasionally be required. Work performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, dust, and noise. Competitive hourly wage. Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an LME Maintenance Mechanic role in Portland, OR. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest quality products. Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and repair warehouse and distribution center equipment, including conveyor systems and related machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Conduct electrical work as required under a valid Oregon LME (Limited Maintenance Electrician) license.
- Follow established safety procedures, including hazard communication, chemical usage, lockout / tagout, and emergency protocols.
- Use a variety of hand and powered tools to perform repairs, adjustments, and installations.
- Accurately document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair logs.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to address equipment issues and ensure efficient workflow.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, supporting a safe and productive warehouse environment.
