Business Analyst (Customer Facing) - Latam (Los Angeles)

Insight Global is looking for a customer facing Business Analyst for one of their large media and entertainment clients. This is a contract role, slated until July 2025 and is requiring working Pacific Standard Time. This Business Analyst will supporting the clients' creative asset management ecosystem; MediaCloud application. This candidate will work on the existing application as well as the rebuild project. This person will also be involved in projects for the television station. At a high level, this project is focused on a transition from a legacy application and delivering specific geographical content to perspective TV stations. This includes commercials (national and local), syndication programs, live events and promos. This candidate will lead multiple activities such as customer engagement, business workflow discovery, use case definition, workflow modeling, and managing complex requirements, while serving as a customer liaison between the business and development, QA and production support teams. This Business Analyst will be involved in discovery set ups, requirements gathering, creating tickets within Jira, refinement, backlog and priorities. It is crucial that this person have experience gathering requirements directly from the customer.

Media Industry experience

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, specifically gathering requirements from the users / customers

Excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills, including creation of project documentation, presentation materials, and presenting to business functional, and technical audiences

Strong hands-on experience with SDLC methodologies such as Agile Scrum and Kanban

Expertise in business stakeholder engagement and relationship management

Strong ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements, process flows, system interface specifications, user stories, and business rules that lead to intuitive and efficient end-end workflows

Hands-on experience on tools such as MS Office, Google Suite, Visio, Lucidchart, JIRA, Confluence, Invision
