Job Opportunity : Verification Lead

Location : Pleasanton, CA

Role : Verification Lead - Senior Verification Engineer (MedTech)

We are seeking a Senior Verification Engineer to lead the verification efforts for embedded and mobile systems in the Medical Technology (MedTech) sector. This individual will be responsible for defining verification strategies, leading engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards for medical devices.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

  • Hands-on experience with cloud-connected medical devices and mobile health applications .
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy in medical systems.
  • Industry certifications such as ISTQB, ASQ , or equivalent.

Preferred / Optional Skills :

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering , or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software / hardware verification, with at least 3 years in a leadership role .
  • Proven track record in MedTech product development and verification .
  • Strong knowledge of embedded systems and mobile platforms (Android / iOS) .
  • Familiarity with medical device standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
  • Proficiency with test automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Jenkins, CI / CD).
  • Excellent communication , documentation , and organizational skills.Top of Form
